Viet Nam Travel & Tourism Summit 2019 Scheduled For December 9
The Viet Nam Travel & Tourism Summit 2019 features one plenary session and four simultaneous thematic sessions. During the plenary session, delegates will discuss measures to develop Viet Nam’s tourism and aviation industries, in addition to the signing of memoranda of understandings (MoUs) and cooperation deals, also the launching of two offices advertising Vietnamese tourism in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Flower Festival Returns To Da Lat In December
The biennial cultural and tourism festival cherishes flowers and the flower industry in Da Lat, and this year has the theme ‘Da Lat and Flowers’.
It will showcase all the colourful flowers grown locally by decorating public areas around Xuan Huong Lake, flower villages, tourist attractions, and major streets with them between December 20 and January 2.
There will be 13 major events at several venues, including an international flower and bonsai exhibition and the Da Lat Flower Trade Fair from December 20 to January 1, a Vietnam-Korea culture and art exchange programme on December 21 and a scientific conference on the architectural heritage of Da Lat on December 23.
Workshops on investment, trade and tourism promotion in the central highlands province of Lam Dong and the links between the tea and mulberry industries with the socio-economic development of Bao Loc will also be held.
A Lam Dong Tea and Silk Culture Week with the theme “B'Lao shimmering night” will promote the tea and silk industries in Bao Loc.
A fashion show featuring unique designs made from Bao Loc silk and brocade will be held on December 22.
Thua Thien-Hue Launches New Medical Tourism Service
The hall is built in a 4,450 sq.m site, and decorated in the traditional style of an Oriental medical house.
Coming here, visitors will have an opportunity to get pulse diagnosis by Oriental medicine practitioners who are members of the Hue Oriental Medicine Association as well as learn about precious medicinal plants used in ancient royal remedies.
Tourists are also able to enjoy high-class tea and explore the process of making traditional essential oil for therapy.
According to Director of the provincial Department of Tourism Le Huu Minh, the number of tourists to Hue increases averagely by 10-12 percent on a yearly basis.
