Day 1- Hanoi Arrival (-/-/-)
Our guide and driver will warmly welcome you at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi City, and then transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at the hotel or to self-explore the surrounding shops and cafes. It is wonderful to be beside your family for chatting while watching lines of motorbikes on streets on your family holidays. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2- Hanoi – Halong (B/-/-)
In the morning, we have a sight-seeing tour around ancient Hanoi-the capital of Vietnam of over 1000 years old: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex which includes the Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace as well as Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Follow this with visits to One Pillar Pagoda, then to the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university dating back to the 11th century.
After lunch, we leave Hanoi for Halong City. The stayover in Halong including many exciting activities will bring a lot of fun to your kids on family holidays in Vietnam. On arrival, check in your hotel. The rest of day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Halong
Day 3- Halong – Hanoi (B/L/-)
We will enjoy five hour cruise on Halong Bay in the morning, which gives you the chance to discover the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. Fresh seafood lunch will be served after your visit to a number of limestone caves in the area.
In the afternoon, we are driven back to Hanoi. Our arrival will be followed by a walking around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Restored Sword Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Let’s your children learn more about history during the family holidays at these historical places of Hanoi ancient city.
Enjoy Water Puppet show – a unique traditional art of Vietnam this evening. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 4- Hanoi – Hochiminh City (B/-/-)
In the early morning, you are picked up and transferred to the airport for flight to Hochiminh City. We will go to the city centre. After a short rest, we continue the family holidays with a sight-seeing tour around Hochiminh City – the biggest city of Vietnam. The sightseeing attractions include Reunification Hall (the former President Palace), War remnant museum, Thien Hau pagoda, China town, Binh Tay market, photo stops at Notre Dame Cathedraland Central Post Office. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh City.
Day 5- Hochiminh City – Cu Chi – Tay Ninh (B/-/-)
We are going to travel to the outskirt of Hochiminh City for a visit at Cu Chi underground tunnels – the historical site during American-Vietnam War. Proceed to Tay Ninh for joining the unique Caodaism mass at Cao Dai Holy Land. Within the family holidays designed by Journeymekong.com, the stop at this holy land will let you know more about religious life of Vietnamese people in the South. We return to Hochiminh City in the late afternoon then visit brick kilns on the way. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh City.
Day 6- Hochiminh City – My Tho (B/L/-)
We are taken to My Tho by car to explore the mythical Mekong river delta. After that, we visit Vinh Trang pagoda and then take boat trip to islets full of bonsai & orchard gardens, handicraft workshops, local houses made of coconut trees. You are warmly hosted by local people and invited to try honey bee tea, seasonal fruits and to enjoy Southern folk music. These interesting activities will bring you many happy experiences during thefamily holidays in Vietnam. We come back to Hochiminh City in the afternoon and relax. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh City.
Day 7- Hochiminh City Departure (B/-/-)
You are free at own leisure till being picked up and transferred to the airport for departure flight.
